Anyone knows if there is a plan to port the Attansic age(4) driver to DragonFly (and the Ralink wireless)?

If your laptop has the same ethernet chip as my Eee 901 then you'll need ale(4)

Yep, seems to be an ale(4):

  chip=0x10261969 == 0x1026 (DEVICEID_ATHEROS_AR81XX),
                     0x1969 (VENDORID_ATHEROR).

I am wondering why pciconf mentions "Gigabit Ethernet" while
the spec says 10/100 MBit. Has you Eee 901 Gigabit Ethernet?

IIRC. I said I'd try a port it from FreeBSD[1] but I don't have the time nor experience to achieve this at the moment. I'm surprised the wireless doesn't work... It's a RT2860 right?

pciconf says:

  none4@pci1:0:0:	class=0x028000 card=0x27901814 chip=0x07811814
                        rev=0x00 hdr=0x00
      vendor   = 'Ralink Technology, Corp'
      class    = network

By looking at some Linux pages it seems to be the RT2860.

DragonFly doesn't seem to support the RT2860, at least not through the ral(4) driver. OpenBSD supports it:

Michael
