Hofmann's wlan_serialize branch has been pushed

Hi all,

I have pushed Hofmann's wlan_serialize branch, which solves many wlan
related panics.  however, it needs further testing on wpi(4) and
iwi(4).  If you have the hardware, please let's know whether it works
for you or not.
