Unfortunately, it looks like there is a bootstrap problem upgrade to 
HEAD from prior to this commit:

An upgrade may require first upgrading to this commit (or later up to 
but not including f506e60df4a2ee3cc470ddcbad8a149f756bec0f )

After that, it should be possible to build world to HEAD.
In the meantime I'll see if something can be done.
