Issues Setting Up IPFW

Hi=2C

I am trying to setup a simple firewall on DragonflyBSD=2C but I am having i=
ssues with it.  When I type:
>firewall_enable=3D"YES"
>firewall_type=3D"/usr/local/etc/ipfw.conf"

into my rc.conf=2C the system will not boot.  The last message I get is som=
ething like:

>Configuring syscons.  Blanktime.=20

And then nothing else happens.  At first=2C I thought there was an issue wi=
th the rules in my ipfw.conf file.  However=2C when I comment out the firew=
all_type line and leave just the firewall_enable=3D"YES" line it still won'=
t boot.

I have also tried loading ipfw at runtime=2C by typing:
>ipfw enable firewall
>ipfw add 00010 allow all from any to any via lo0

but then I get an error message:
>ipfw: getsockopt(IP_FW_ADD): Protocol not available

So=2C naturally=2C I am quite lost.  I have pared down my ipfw.conf to bare=
bones=2C and still can't seem to get it to work.  I will attach it=2C and h=
opefully=2C someone can point me in the right direction on how to set this =
up properly.

Needless to say=2C I am a firewall noob.  But=2C if anyone can offer some h=
elp=2C I would greatly appreciate it.
