usb disk problems anyone?

Wondering if anyone is having any problems getting 2x USB HDD's online
at the same time - (this is 2.6/i386)

Had a key in one drive, plugged in a SATA hdd, and it didn't scan,
left both in, rebooted, neither was there,
rebooted w/o usb key, sata showed up..
not a sata power up issue as this drive is externally powered..

camcontrol rescan all yields various:
  cam_periph_alloc: attempt to re-allocate valid device sg0 rejected

types of things - on the 'both booted' boot it looked like the kernel
was trying to assign both drives the same SG device..

Didn't muck around with devfs mapping, though I'm thinking this should 
be investigated anyhow..

If others have same, will file bug / investigate if any tips on where to 
start..
