custom boot menu

Hi:

i've set up a quad boot system with BSD's installed
in the following order
 FreeBSD
 DragonFlyBSD
 OpenBSD
 NetBSD

At boot time, the current display is shown as
 . FreeBSD
 . FreeBSD
 . BSD
 . BSD

i'd like to create a custom boot menu, which shows their 
respective names. Any suggestions or pointers ?
