    Works here!  One of my Intel boxes detected it:

	kern.cputimer.freq: 25000000
	kern.cputimer.clock: 3192798026
	kern.cputimer.name: HPET
	kern.cputimer.select: HPET ACPI-fast24 i8254_timer2 dummy
