behaviours in any way? It seems absurd that there
is no networking benefit to adding another
processor two years into the project.

Unless you are ready to write support for interrupt affinity, cleanup the APIC code to use logical topology and do the necessary cleanups to the PCI interrupt routing code, these things take time.

	But yes, support for interrupt affinity is in the list of things that
	need to be done.

The amount of hands at DragonFly's kernel code are limited.
