Because we've run into a concrete wall? Fixing all of this upstream is
an enormous task, requiring lots of time and personal correspondence
with an load of developers of all sorts of third party applications
which seems allmost impossible. I don't like giving in either, and I
don't think this is the solution, but having to fix errno stuff for
programs allmost daily sure tires one.
