%a in vfprintf

I currently work about adding enlightenment to pkgsrc,
and for compile eet (enlightenment depend on it)
printf function must support "%a".

In vfprintf.c file are lines:

#ifdef HEXFLOAT
	case 'a':
	case 'A':
#endif

but HEXFLOAT is never defined.

Can anyone check if HEXFLOAT is defined, "%a" argument
works correctly (and make this the default)?
