BEEPING

It had been a few month since I last updated the DFly install on my
laptop.  Today I notice the PC speaker seems to be work, beeping when
you hit too many back spaces and such.

But when I type `kbdcontrol -b quiet.visual` the beeping doesn't go
away.  Anyone know whats up with this ?
