Future of pre-newpcm sound cards

Hi all,
Sascha and me discussed the state of the old soundcard drivers
from the VoxWare era. They haven't been maintained for years,
the hardware is ISA-only and pre-newbus. Is anyone still using
such hardware? More importantly is there any interest in keeping
this?
