ips (serveraid adapter) - someone working on it ?

Hello,

I'm interested in the project and i'm wondering, not being a programmer,
if ips would be available one day in DFBSD ? This is the only obstacle
that prevents me from switching.
In case a work's in progress, i could help with testing.
