:package.  Nevertheless, the old "solution" of just copying it from
:/usr/local would work as wlel.

    I'd say just copy it from /usr/local.  Its a temporary measure so we
    shouldn't get too fancy, and at least with a straight copy (and associated
    'check' code) it will be forwards compatible.
