David, there is nothing big here. The commit message is more fancy than it needed to be. If you look at the changes, I have just tried to silence all the warnings in the I4B code.

	LINT has got too noisy for my taste so I have tried to silence
	as many warnings as possible.  For example, ACPICA has gotten
	too noisy under LINT.

	The protocol switch (protosw) is also generating very annoying
	warnings.
