Yep, pkgsrc release is pkgsrc-2010Q4.

Is there a line
  USE_TOOLS+=            autoconf
in the Makefile ?
There is no such line in a file

Is there a file patch-ac in patches/ ? Yes. patch-aa, patch-ab, patch-ac.
