[issue1289] Console installer on Live DVD broken

It seems to have been tested only up to the point of "does the installer start
in both X and the console?".

The appropriate test for changes in the LiveDVD config, however, is to confirm
that the whole cycle works:

1) Boot the LiveDVD
2) Install a system from the LiveDVD
3) Boot system installed from the LiveDVD and make sure it works as expected
