:one of our imap accounts noticed he cant access his mailbox. then only
:restart of the server itself will fix this problem.

    It does sound like your disk driver (mly I guess) is freezing.  Can
    you access anything on that partition after imap stops working?  If you
    can there might be an issue with bad blocks.  If you can't access the
    partition at all then its probably MLY locking up.

    It might be possible to reset the device with camcontrol without
    rebooting.  Its worth a shot anyhow.
