    Ok, this looks like it will be easy to figure out.  The system is
    deadlocked in the serializer.  There must be a case where I either
    forget to unlock, or a deadlock.  I will track it down on thursday.

    It is possible that this issue is also causing the problem Emiel Kollof
    is reporting.
