Well, this is as much as I'm able to get:

I am unable to scroll all the way to the beginning of the boot, or even
all the way to the first xpt_ line.  I manage to get as far back as it
detecting rlphy, so I've scrolled down to the next xpt_ line and started
from there.

I thought about just pauing the boot every few seconds, but I've since
discovered that my machine will boot up about 33% of the time, and I
really don't want to spend 30 minutes pausing the boot process every two
seconds to copy down lines, only to have to boot up properly :-)  Unless
I absolutely need to, of course.
